The Fund's Management will actively monitor each portfolio investment. Portfolio companies will be expected to provide an annual business operating plan including 3-year financial projections and an annual budget, quarterly financial statements, and audited annual financials.
The Fund will seek a board of directors seat when available. When a board seat is not available, the Fund will seek visitation rights to the company's board of directors meetings.
Monitoring through board meetings will be supplemented with regular ongoing due diligence meetings with the company's management.
Through Osprey's network of relationships and the Fund's Managements accumulated years of experience, the Fund assists portfolio companies in a material way toward financial success. Where appropriate, the Fund's Management will help develop business plans or participate on an interim basis in an operational capacity.
The Fund regularly introduces potential strategic corporate partners to our portfolio companies for licensing, financing, distribution, and collaboration opportunities where appropriate. The Fund makes introductions to financial institutions, technical resources, regulatory counsel, law firms, public accounting firms, and other special resources through our network.
